The Point Pancake House: The Ultimate Breakfast Destination in Gurnee, IL

Excellent food, excellent customer service. We ordered several different things from omelettes to skittles to pancakes, we were not disappointed with anything. Our waitress was very, very nice and helpful. We would recommend this place for everyone.

I have been coming here for years and am never, ever disappointed. My family stopped in today after a rather challenging morning looking for comfort in some coffee and a hot breakfast. Dawn H was our server and we could not have asked for better! Immediately she brought us a fresh pot of coffee with a warm smile. She was a delight, very friendly and you can tell she knows her stuff. The food was amazing per usual! The hash browns were perfectly golden and crispy. Dawn made our experience just that much better. Will be back soon :)

They accommodated 8 of us comfortably. The service was on point (pun intended). The waitress was kind enough to point (pun not intended) out on each of our separate checks that gratuity was included. The food was excellent. Recommend the chicken orzo soup. Highly recommend and I'll be headed back. Another thing, there was an older woman with a service dog. They brought the dog water. I loved that nice touch.

As an out of country guest, I have been a patron with every visit to this great part of the country. The quality and flavour of all the offerings, together with the fantastic service throughout, and the family atmosphere makes this a gem deserving of all the accolades. Freshly squeezed orange juice, skillets, benedicts, omelettes, sandwiches, waffles, Greek yogurt, and of course the namesake pancakes! The list goes on and on! May God bless everyone involved in running this fantastic staple in the community. Do not miss out on trying it out and returning again and again!

This is one of my fav breakfast places. The food is always good. I recommend the chilaquiles with cecina or skirt steak ñ, the veggie skillet, velvet pancakes, crepes…yum Our favorite waitress is Maria. She is always super nice and quick.

My husband and I came in yesterday during the morning hours. The service was quick and super friendly. We both ordered the country fried steak and he upgraded his pancakes to the red velvet pancakes. Everything was really delicious. The country steak was flavorful and very tender. Good portions as well and very reasonable prices. I am glad we came in. Not many good breakfast places left around. My only complaint would be, the booths are a bit small and cramped, so next time we'll probably just get a table. But overall great experience. It was on "point"

I have not been there for several years and it was good back there then and even better now the homemade corned beef hash was outstanding the service was great the pancakes were great definitely a place I will start going to more often

Great spot to grab a quick bite to eat early in the morning with the family! Super fast service and virtually no wait once you put an order in! My brother and I couldn’t believe how fast the food came out.
